Vigilance Software: 1st Runner-Up at Hack4Impact

We are thrilled to announce that our project, Vigilance Software, secured the 1st Runner-Up position at the Hack4Impact hackathon organized by Stacks Pakistan, a part of the global Stacks Ecosystem. This esteemed recognition was accompanied by a generous grant and accolades from the NUST community.

The Problem and Our Solution

Vigilance Software is designed to enhance online education. The project employs Artificial Intelligence (AI) to statistically review and analyze the real-time participation of students in an online class. The goal is to improve the overall learning experience by providing actionable insights to educators. What sets us apart is the integration of blockchain technology, enabling distributed Machine Learning (ML).

Technical Highlights

  • Real-time analysis of student participation using AI algorithms.
  • Utilization of blockchain technology for secure and transparent data processing.
  • A pioneering approach to use distributed ML in an educational context.
